Another heaven on earth.... can see kinnar kalish peak (shivling) from this place. Kalpa is a small town in the Sutlej river valley, above Recong Peo in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Northern India, in the Indian Himalaya. Best Time to Visit Kalpa During summer season Kalpa, located at high altitude, experiences moderate climate throughout the year. The winters beginning from October to May are long and extremely cold while summers are short from June to September. The village however, faces very unpredictable rainfall during monsoon season. With summer temperature ranging from 8 deg C to 24 deg C, light woolens are suffice, while the winters are freezing with minimum temperature dipping as low as -15 deg C to - 20 deg C.
